CHEUNG KING MAN was born in Hong Kong and graduated from Mechanical Engineering in the Hong Kong Polytechnic. After his graduation , he found great interest in painting and thus joined an extension short-course of art painting in the Hong Kong Polytechnic spending three months.
From that time , he got a chance in acquainted with one painting master .Thereafter , he decided to develop the interest in Western Painting and followed this master as one of his students . Not far from that time , he joined the UKSAA as a member.
In 1992 , he was one of the artists who won the Modern Art Competition sponsored by the Philippe Charriol Foundation.
During the course of learning , he got a lot of experiences through participating in various kinds of exhibition held in both local and overseas.
From the absorption of different techniques of distinctive artists , he developed to create his own style and manner of painting. He has strong
belief that he will continue to pursue his goal in making progress throughout his life without abandonment under any difficult circumstances.
