Chuck Ragsdale and his wife, both American citizens, like to live 'quietly' by the seashore in Baja California, and pretend it's still the 60's. Who wouldn't want that?
Most of the digital artwork done here was created using my own (proprietary) software. I try to design my abstracts with harmonious, jewel-like colors that have an almost 3-dimensional effect. Also sometimes just flat but very interesting patterns with the same jewel-like colors.
I can (and have) also gone 'old-school' and done a number of paintings, mostly acrylic, which I hope to present here soon.
The thing to do with my work (I think) is to imagine what it would look like at 4ft. x 4ft. hanging on your walls! Some of it would look pretty slick, I think.
HEY, I MADE IT TO GOOGLE EARTH in Pacific Beach!
If anyone wants to see a picture of my beat-up old grey Jeep in Pacific Beach, go to Google Earth and 'fly' to 704 Garnet Ave. Pacific Beach, CA 92109 or, in lat.-long. coords. 32 47 46.72 N and 117 15 23.97 W and click on the 360 deg circle for Crystal Pier Hotel, and rotate the image around to the right a little past Kono's (my favorite breakfast eatery) and there it is! My old grey Jeep Grand Cherokee! Parked in my favorite spot!
Check out the whole image of Crystal Pier Hotel and Kono's and everywhere! This is my favorite hangout spot! You'll see why!
