Cathie was born and raised in the Kootenay Region of beautiful British Columbia. She bought her first camera at the age of 12 and started shooting and exploring. Nature is her play ground, healer, teacher and inspiration. Many of her photos are taken on her frequent kayak paddles on Kootenay Lake and adventures into the surrounding mountains. She loves to capture and share the beautiful patterns of nature and the life giving principles inherent within them.
