I 'discovered' photography, along with sculpture, during a sabbatical year studying Fine Arts in Bologna, Italy in 1985, a life-long dream briefly realised. I could list dates and places of eleven exhibitions of my photographs since then but it is some of the titles that I think are more revealing: 'The Light of Italy', 'Pictures of Love and Solitude', 'Once Upon a Time There Was the Sea, ' Revealing the Unseen', ' Meetings', 'Perceptions', 'Man and the Landscape', 'Moments in Venice'.
