I am of Polish decent, and come from a family of thirteen children. Born in the USA in the state of Connecticut. I discovered I liked to draw while in the 4th grade. As I got older, it became very therapeutic for me. I decided what my signature would be in high school, combining my first name (Carol), with my maiden name (Olis)....CAROLIS... Although I craved to continue school in the arts field, I was not ambitious enough, nor encouraged, to put myself through college. Instead I married and have three beautiful daughters. My children became my art. The marriage lasted fourteen years. Once divorced, I found an office job and quit waitressing. My responsibilities were prioritized and my creativeness put on hold for many years. Currently I am unemployed and my children grown, so I figured I will take this time for me, and utilize my creativity. I have God given gifts in drawing and I have discovered that I can paint as well. I make jewelry, and arrange silk flowers amongst other interests. I love to spend as much time as possible with my grandchild.
