Painterly Style Images
One of my favorite ways to work with digital textures is create images which have a painterly style. Images in this gallery have been post-processed in this manner! I think my love of this style harkens back to my scrapbooking days when I enjoyed "hybrid scrapbooking," which combined traditional 3D scrapbooking and digital design. This gallery's painterly style images are also hybrid creations - generally beginning with a photograph, or occasionally a piece of original artwork, which is then postprocessed with digital painting techniques, with overlaid textures (often from original photographs), with various digital enhancement techniques, or a combination of the above! Some of us photographers just can't resist tinkering in Photoshop, Corel Painter, etc.!!
