Amsterdam The Netherlands.Bruce Brouwn is raised in a very Artistic environment, son of a world famous Conceptual Artist/Professor. During childhood on a very young age Bruce Brouwn discoverd the world of Art by drawing, painting and sculpting. Bruce Brouwn enjoyed visiting Art exhibitions and (modern) Art museums, during this period of childhood, the urge to create/visualise became a never ending process, up till today. At the age of 19 Bruce Brouwn started to discover the computer as a Artistic tool. During this time period, Adobe Photoshop, Apple Mac and even Internet were not developed. The dedicated computer hardware named: 'Quantel Paintbox' is a dedicated computer system for performing real time manipulation of video,creating graphics and photomanipulation. Following its initial launch in 1981, it revolutionised the production of television graphics, but is still in widespread use today. Its capabilities have kept pace with the state of the art in software and hardware design.. during this period QUANTEL became one of the worldwide leaders in High end Dedicated Video and (Photo) Graphic computing used for the Professional advertising world and the Movie Industry. Being one of the first Artist worldwide using this dedicated hardware, Bruce Brouwn became one of the most experienced Professional Artist specialised in Photographic Image manipulation/creation.Next to the High standard Professional Imagecreation work for the Advertising world, the creating of personal ART (ownwork) never stopped, by non stop experimenting more and more specialised Art skills/techniques were developped during the last 23 years of Professional Image/Art creation by BRUCE BROUWN
