Athanasia Kekempanou is a visual artist born in Athens, Greece in 1975. In 2001 she graduated with honors from Athens School of Fine Arts with a B.A., majoring in Painting and Art Education and won the first prize of Yannis and Zoe Foundation in Athens. At her artwork she embraces a range of materials and media that range from ephemeral environments and installations, photography , video and media art to more traditional forms of visual arts like drawing and painting.
