I am a Canadian representational artist. I paint with acrylics on canvas. I use thin layers or thick textural strokes of paint. I also create digital paintings using traditional oil painting techniques. I use virtual brushes and paint. My paintings are influenced by my love of colour. When I paint I try to capture the excitement of colour in light, shadow and atmosphere. My paintings are also influenced by my knowledge of abstract design principles.

My paintings are in private collections in Canada and the U.S. My paintings have also been on exhibit.

I have taken courses at university and art schools. I read many art magazines and books. I study the work of other artists. I am a lifelong art student.

INFORMATION WHEN PURCHASING MY ORIGINAL ACRYLIC PAINTINGS

PAYMENT ON ORIGINAL PAINTINGS

Buy direct from the artist. My paintings on 8 by 10 inch (20.4 by 25.5 cm) canvas mounted on stretcher bars sell for $60. My paintings on 11 by 14 inch (28.05 by 35.7 cm) canvas are $230. My paintings on sealed watercolor paper using oil techniques sell for $20.

Purchasers may pay for my original paintings by credit card with PayPal (safe transactions), money order, personal cheque (check) or Interac email or wire money transfer. There is a link on my website to pay safely with credit cards. A money order, PayPal or Interac email or wire money transfer assures immediate shipping upon receipt of payment. A cheque routinely takes 14 days to clear. I ship the painting within 3 business days of receiving the cleared payment.

There is no sales tax on my paintings.

REFUND POLICY ON ORIGINAL PAINTINGS

I accept return of paintings in original condition. I refund the cost of the painting; return shipping costs are not refunded. The painting should be returned immediately. Once the painting is returned and everything is sorted out, I issue a refund within 2 to 4 business days.

FREE SHIPPING FOR ALL PAINTINGS WITHIN CANADA AND TO THE U.S. I ship by Canada Post surface mail using Bubble Mailing envelopes.

If you want to ship outside North America, please contact me. Cost of shipping is based on location.

If you are shipping to Canada or the U.S., you can expect to receive the art within 10 to 12 business days, although Canada Post's delivery time varies. There is a longer delivery time before Christmas. You can choose and pay for a different and/or faster shipping method.
