Throughout my life I have been fascinated in all types of creating which has taken me to explore many creative avenues, from drawing, painting in watercolor, oils, and acrylic, jewelry making, sculpting, pottery, wood burning, photography and more.

Though I consider myself mostly self taught, I did win a full scholarship to Art Instruction School. This scholarship gave me an opportunity to reinforce my knowledge of the design elements of painting. With this reinforcement and some studies with local artist, my artist abilities have flourished.

My personal belief is that even though I know the elements of design, I will let the work evolve and allow it to become what the piece needs to become. I believe that intuition is my inner artist and by letting go of thought and becoming one with the piece creates true art.

I specialize in impressionistic work due to the fact that I love color and choose to push my work to a different level.

I have taught painting for many years in local adult schools, private lessons, and at Michael’s Art and Craft Stores.

Many of my pieces have been displayed and sold.
