I would characterize myself as the quintessential street photographer, pounding the pavement 'til my feet hurt and hunting for those elusive photo opportunities. I have been doing this for over a dozen years now and my enthusiasm for shooting and my hunger for learning new techniques hasn't subsided. The equipment I use is chosen for speed since many of the images I take last only a few seconds and then disappear forever. I lean toward moody, noirish type images even though they are the most difficult to capture. One of my favourite images in my portfolio is 'The Conversation' shot at dusk on a New York street. Technically, it's a very difficult shot especially when one only has a few seconds to capture it but definitely very satisfying from an artistic point of view. I hope you enjoy looking at my images as much as I enjoy taking them.
