Little Cayman
Little Cayman, the smallest of three that comprises the Cayman Islands, is located in the Caribbean Sea about 60 miles N.E. of Grand Cayman & approximately five miles west of Cayman Brac. The least populated of the three islands, its population numbers approximately 170. It is about 10 miles in length & averages 1mile wide. The majority of the island is undeveloped & is at sea level with the highest elevation at about 40 feet. Little Cayman is known for its peaceful serene tranquility, private secluded powder-soft sandy beaches, excellent scuba diving, bird watching, unspoiled wildlife habitat & a laid-back atmosphere. The island boasts about 100 dive sites featuring numerous tunnel systems, with Bloody Bay Wall being the main attraction. Other things to do while there include hiking trails, cave hunting & exploring heritage sites. (Gallery in-progress)
