Growing up in a communist flat at the edge of Bucharest put her life in a perspective.
She was always trying to escape from a grey neighbourhood, from a heavy communist loaded school system and from the law level of encouragement of those times.
Childhood in Romania in the 80’s was almost hilarious; to queue for bread, oil, sugar, pork legs, cheese, oranges, ones they even brought bananas at the ugly neighborhood grocery store. That’s living on the edge.
With her passion to draw she decided to study architecture and that was a great decision. Now she is an architect who loves to paint and draw.
As a child Alice had long beautiful summer holidays together with her brother in a small village in Transylvania. That was freedom nurtured by the nature and family. Love is purring out from her childhood extended till so far.
Here she is now in Maastricht The Netherlands bringing the joy and the beauty of life in her work.
“I made an energetic bridge between the places where I came from and where now I belong and I realized that the places are important but you have to relate to them wherever you are with love and live at you highest potential.”
Few words about the paintings and drawings.
Living in a rather cloudy city Maastricht I am bringing the rays and spectrum of light into my work. Bright colors will speak out my desire and wish to see the Sun more often with he’s majestic power and vitamin D… Enjoy and Cheers!
