Maine a portion of the state of Maine shares a boundary along the White Mountains. Maine is the northeasternmost U.S. state, is known for its rocky coastline, maritime history, and nature areas like Acadia National Park, Baxter State Park, Moosehead Lake, Rangeley Region and so much more! Moose and eagles are plentiful, and we have some wonderful waterfalls, large lakes, flowing rivers, and beautiful mountains. There are also some covered bridges to see! Baxter State Park is home to Mt. Katahdin, the endpoint of the Appalachian Trail. Lighthouses such as the candy-striped beacon at West Quoddy Head, dot the coast, as do lobster shacks and sandy beaches like Ogunquit and Old Orchard. Beaches, hiking trails, and so much more!!!
