WHAT IS ABSINTHE ART?
Like the drink Absinthe, a favorite among the bohemians and creative types in 1800's Paris. The elixir was to bring about 'the green fairy' the muse, to bring out creativity. This can be used as a metaphor for bringing out the internal alchemy by going on an inner quest within. I am Michelle Scott and my Art Gallery here is 'Absinthe Art.'
I'm a self-taught eclectic artist using many mediums, as well as many subjects. I cannot be tied down to only one kind of collection, too many incredible things to paint, draw, photograph and etc. When you go through many trials and tribulations in life, you realize what is important...to Be HAPPY and do what you LOVE! I try and remain in the LOVE vibration when at all possible, because this is after all where only good can blossom into anything worthwhile. I love and respect nature and simple things in life. I'm an energetic healer and a mystical traveler. Like layers of an onion, a part of me is left with each piece of art I create. May you be touched in some way by my art, welcome and enjoy :)
