Macarthur' a name acquired while a technology consultant working with inner-city public school teachers … teaching the use of MAC (Apple Macintosh) computers as 'the preferred' tool for student desk-top publishing projects. After two weeks in the consultant position, teachers were calling me 'Arthur,' then 'MAC-Man,' then MAC-arthur and finally, combining my actual first name initial 'A' with the Macarthur … came the name that stuck ... 'A. Macarthur.'
