My photography experience began in junior high school in the early 60s and continued at different levels throughout my life. Now I am a father of two, and grandfather of three and my photography interest has never been greater. I will shoot just about anything that catches my eye.
My first serious efforts at photography began while I was serving in the U.S. Navy 1966 through 1969. Until digital I shot film, of course, using Pentax, Nikon, Hasselblad and Minolta equipment. When the digital age arrived and I moved in that direction I purchased a Nikon D70 that transformed over time into a D80, D300, D700, and now a D800.
For several years I was a member of the board of directors of the California Inland Fishing Foundation, Inc. (www.kokanee.org) as well as the originationís official photographer. I am a past member of the Professional Photographers of the Sacramento Valley (www.ppsv.org), but remain a Nikonian (www.nikonians.org), and a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (www.PhotoshopUser.com), and Rocklin Fine Arts (http://www.rocklinfinearts.org/).
We love to visit Hawaii so many of my favorite images will originate from that state. I hope you enjoy looking through my images.
