The 'great outdoors' has always been an important part of my life, even though I was born, raised and have a mailing address in Los Angeles' busy port town of San Pedro. I've hiked the country lanes and paths of Great Britain, bike toured thorough Europe for 6 months, backpacked in the Sierra Nevada, and 'truck camped' around the western US for weeks at a time, taking in the scenery and places of solitude.
