At the age of forty, I re-discovered my long-lost love and it began with photography and then onto writing, doing sketches, digital photography, poetry, etc. I am very creative and look forward to displaying my art and photography. Previously I had worked in the social work field and plan on doing some writing pertaining to the subject matter and health later. My first book will be on my poetry though. I love photography and often will take trips to add to my portfolio and then other times, I may simply take pictures of sunsets or sunrises in my own backyard, take a walk to my local park for a hike through the woods. All of that inspires me, whether to take a picture or write a poem. I have also took up sketching as I used to a long time ago! Whoever said that life begins at forty, knew what they were talking about. I feel so much more creative now, then I ever felt when I was in my 20's and I ready for new opportunites. There is nothing as special as creating your own work
