Three times honored at the Carmel Art Festival and winner of the Monterey Plein Air Festival, Robert Lewis has had a long career in art as an illustrator, designer, and fine artist. Lewis’ work is part of the permanent collection of the Academy Art Museum on the East Coast and is shown in several galleries. Before returning to his native California and taking up plein air landscape oil painting he worked in watercolor, scratchboard, paper sculpture, and acrylics, exhibiting his imaginative works.
