I first learned photography as a photojournalist in the Navy. I served in Vietnam as a photographer aboard the USS Saint Paul, CA 73, 1967-68. My interest in photography has always been from a photojournalism point of view. Most of my photographs are of people or about people. I look for interactions between people and body postures. I often try for silhouettes. I believe photography, the capture of a moment in time, is the closest thing to magic that we do. more
