Lisa S. Brumley Bell
Growing up on a farm in the foothills of White Oak Mountain near Cleveland, Tennessee has given Lisa Bell a deep appreciation for nature. Drawing from these memories, Lisa uses her artwork to create a place where imagination and dreams mingle with reality in a spritz of water; and with the flick of the brush trees and misty mountains sprout from small puddles of water and tiny dabs of paint. She invites you to think about your times in the mountains as you view pieces from her ongoing watercolor series, “Smoky Mountain Memories.”
Lisa has another collection called “Save A Tree, Create A Forest.” No bit of paper is lost! She uses scrap papers, junk mail, receipts, etc. along with scrap mat boards and discarded artwork to create Artist Trading Cards that are 99% recycled and reflect her love for nature...especially trees. These little jewels will keep you guessing and make you smile.
With a view of the mountains from Etowah to Ocoee, Lisa enjoys her family farm in southern McMinn county with her husband, Mike. Together they have raised 5 children and seem to get a new dog every time one of the kids leaves home.
She always invites others to…..
“come share your memories with me!”
