Born in 1963, I started playing a large toy upright piano at age 6. I've dabbled in music the rest of my life, recording some music of my own here and there. I've traveled a bit, once to Europe, but mostly across the varied landscapes of the United States. These days, adventure is found closer to home where I have a husband, 8 birds (7 parakeets, 1 cockatiel), family and friends that keep life hopping. I'm still hoping to figure out what I will be when I grow up.
In the meantime, in addition to practicing my ukulele and writing songs that feature an amazing array of 3 chords (in the people's key of C), I've taken up bird watching, nature hiking, and documenting my local adventures with my camera. I hope that you enjoy seeing the things and places I've seen. That's my photos give you at least a sense of being there.
A friend and former colleague of mine has begun a new musical project. Composer and pianist, Greg Starr, of Quiet Rain Music (www.quietrainmusic.com), has begun a project that will take hold over the next twelve months and is entitled 'In The Course of a Year'. He has asked that I collaborate with him on this project with the use of some of my photos. I couldn't be more thrilled. You can follow along by subscribing to his newsletter.
