About Karen, Condron graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Biology on a full violin scholarship. Her initial interest in painting started while painting with her first-born son Jimmy, who today is an accomplished artist. Karen’s original watercolor teacher and mentor was John Rogers, a well known watercolorist in the New York area. Karen moved from Garden City, NY to Wilton, CT where she continued painting until she started and ran a promotional product company on a full-time basis.
