Dan is a native to Sacramento, California. He became interested in photography shortly after he started birding back in 1980. He has followed bird photography from the film days right into the current digital world. He has a number of photo credits including Birder's World, Nevada Magazine, Texas Parks & Wildlife, and Turkey Call Magazine. His images have been used in a number of educational collections, too.
