Not to be confused with Cynthia Adams in US ..UK born and bred.
I am a self taught oil painter,who takes real pleasure in using my imagination to the extreme sometimes.
My work is completely imaginary and have only used one image as a reference to paint in the 11 years,and that didn't turn out as expected, so I refuse to copy anything whether it be in books,photographs or TV images.
I love to be faced with a blank canvas,and with no preconcieved ideas I just 'Go with the flow',wherever my mind takes me and it suits my personality to do so.
Imagination is everything to my creativity,and without it I doubt I would have achieved sales across the World.
Animals are my passion,and yet try as hard as I might there seems to be a mental block when attempting to paint or draw them,so I stick to the tried and tested Landscapes mostly.
I also do a little digital work in PS but I'm happies when I'm holding a brush.
The Mirror Carp image in my portfolio was painted for a family member,and it was a difficult subject to 'tackle',as I know absolutely nothing about fishing but I got there eventually,but have since discovered that 'Mirror Carp' that I struggled to get right,was either Sold,given away or destroyed!
