Hello, Thank you so much for coming to view my work or make a purchase, I'm truly grateful. I'm l988 grad of the Kansas City Art Institute. I worked in corporate, high volume labs as a printer before moving to Dallas, Texas. I landed a job in the photo district in a custom BW lab, printing murals and linens for artists all over the world. I also worked as a photographers assistant in commercial fashion and product shoots in studio, as well as on location. After becoming ill, I returned home. The whole world went digital and did not wait for me. I'd started to think this part of my life had passed. I worked countless jobs over the years and they left marks. Being a taxi cab driver was an up close and personal study of the human condition.
My camera is an older digital that was given to me by a friend. Being able to sell my work knowing someone across the world, put a nail in the wall and hung my work gives me a real sense of accomplishment. I've a large garden out of my love of horticulture. Everything I do is on sheer willpower. I spend my days in debilitating pain-the result of being hit by a drunk driver in 1988, I suffer with Fibromyalgia. I never imagined taking a photograph would be so painfully difficult. In the fall of 2013, I had surgery for cancer, it went very well but I'm overwhelmed with my bills-any help you can give would be wonderful, like sharing my work with others or visiting me on Face Book using the link below to see and hear some Kansas City Blues.
