Brian grew up and lived most of his life in South Central Pennsylvania. He now resides in Southeastern Ohio and has discovered the natural beauty of the Hocking Hills and the native wildlife, all of which he captures in amazing photographs he shares with the world.
In 2012, Brian made the transition from point and shoot to SLR, and made it gracefully. For his first photography competition, he chose to participate in the 11th Annual Friends of the Hocking Hills State Park Shoot the Hills Photography Contest. His RAW format photo, Azalea Bush Bee, was awarded the Grand Prize in the SLR Division.
Brian continues to garner recognition and awards for his work. These accolades provide justification of Brian's choice to make photography his career path. Photography has been a therapeutic tool for Brian who suffers from service connected PTSD and TBI, but there is always the question, 'Are my photos really good, or is it only me that likes them?' To say that Brian is flattered and honored really does not express the true heartfelt emotion Brian experiences when his work is recognized among his peers as exceptional.
Thank you for taking a moment to view the stunning images Brian has chosen to display on this website. He encourages you to visit often, to tell your friends, and to purchase the images you enjoy the most.
