Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Christmas window candles are a traditional favorite in Christmas decorating.
Placing window candles started with the ancient Romans. During the period of winter solstice, they used to hold winter celebrations to praise the return of the sun. However, putting a candle in the window as a Christmas representation appears to be an Irish custom. Some say the candle in the window was meant as a message to the Biblical Mary and Joseph: there is room here for you and your coming child. Others say it held a similar meaning for weary travelers in general - an indication of the legendary Irish hospitality: come in and join us, there is room at our hearth for you this evening. And in the days when it was illegal to practice the Catholic faith because of Penal law, the candle in the window told traveling priests that this was a home where they were welcome and could offer the Irish Catholic Mass in safety.
