About Acrylic Prints
Mounting Option #1
Mounting Option #2
Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print. Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.
The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!
All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).
The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.
There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.
Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts. The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall. When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done. The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1". All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print. Click here for mounting details.
Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back. There are no metal mounting posts at the corners. Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done. Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50" Click here for mounting details.

About Michel Verhoef
Photography is a way of expression for me. This was especially when I discovered digital photography and the possibility of being in control of the whole process, from pressing the shutter to printing. Than i also discovered that photography is more than just pressing the shutter; it also shows ones own, more personal, view on the world. There are so many stories that can be told in one image, and to me the best stories are just out there on the street, just waiting to be captured. In my photography I want to strive for a personal style, preferably more than a signature….but a permanent memory of the image in the viewers mind :) My gear: Nikon COPYRIGHT NOTICE © All images in this gallery are the original...

What an interesting shot (although all of your images are!!) ... This guy, just in from the rain, as attested by the drops on his shoulder and the soggy bottoms of his pants.. sits between these two and makes a wonderful trio. I'm a little perplexed by the white umbrella and white socks, to tell the truth. What man goes out with either? Especially since his other clothes seem quite conservative. Who has been dressing you? LOL. He has caught you looking... do you think he's thinking.. oh, shoot.. I am way too noticeable! The guy in the restaurant seems to have caught something in his eye (is there a carnival on the other side of the street as implied by the backwards sign?) and the older woman he is with perhaps has the sniffles, as the rainy weather may have gotten to her too or perhaps she has noticed the man who sat down and has just whispered.. don't look now.. but the guy outside has both a white umbrella and white socks! :-D I also love the monochrome and very slightly warm tint to this b&w image as it feels good even though it was surely a cold day! :) Maggie
Michel Verhoef replied:
Haha....your story is quite something but you missed something...lol...there are 4 traces of humans here...even the photographer ! He did see me but he wasn't realizing that I was shooting him, it was a really lucky shot since I was shooting with a telelens without looking through it...really lucky. Yes it was at the summer carnival and it wasn't too cold...but some people like to walk with raincoats and white socks...haha...thanks dear Maggie !!! 🍀

I love the symetry in this one! And the essence of three characters. Very authentic!
Michel Verhoef replied:
Thank you very much Laara !!

I must say, you be spending lots of time out in the streets, among the people with your camera. You don't get these kind of shots by chance. Every photo becomes an exceptional moment captured, even the mundane becomes a masterpiece, transcending earthly realities.
Michel Verhoef replied:
Ohh...I'm not so much out there...just sometimes and I should be out there much more !! Thanks dear Ginette !! Happy New Year !!

Another great portrait Michel; I also like the two characters in the background and the composition of the whole scene, very "verhoefian" as you would say :))) LOL
Theresa Tahara
Very dapper with his white socks, umbrella and plaid lining. Great portrait, Michel. ;-)

Ha...well, you know I have something with men wearing trenchcoats :))) it has something ludicrous when being in certain settings....lol...especially when they wear white socks...such a No No....

What fine portrait work. v/f
Michel Verhoef
Hi Darla...thanks for your observation, and the white socks were actually the reason for the shot since I am allergic to men wearing white socks (except with light pants of course).....LOL
Darla Wood
This image is a real winner for me, Michel! A very interesting composition of this dapper gentleman...the two inside diners framing the main subject...love that symmetry and the various reflections in the window...awesome! A beautiful blend of monochromatic tones and the pop of white with the umbrella and white socks really makes the image stunning! ( I thought at first that Sean Connery-007 was in the image...had to do a double take...lol ....and had a great chuckle with Donna's take on this image...very humorous ;-)
Michel Verhoef
Wow...I love your imagination Donna !!! I think I stick yo that story....lol
Donna Blackhall
Every image has a story - in looking at this I see the lady holding her nose as if the gentleman opposite her did something unmentionable during the meal and the gentleman is looking out the window as if to say " wasn't me" and the gentleman seated outside is starting to chuckle about the whole situation V
Mary Machare
I love the people in the restaurant window as much as the gentleman with the umbrella. Marvelous work as always! vf
