Davinia Hart

Davinia Hart was born in the “Black Country” of central England, so-called because of its industrial history of glass and metal manufacture. Although she obtained a university degree in fine art, she regards herself as a self-taught artist. She has had several exhibitions in England and has undertaken commission work. Recently she had an exhibition in Portland, Maine. This was her first show in the U.S. Davinia experiments with various media, technique and themes. She has never been one to explain what inspires her to create. Instead, she prefers to let the viewer wonder.
