Artist's Description
The Lions Gate Bridge and downtown Vancouver at dusk.
The structure with what appears to be five pyramids is Canada Place, with the light reflecting in the Vancouver Harbour. Visible in the far distance at the top left of the photo is the Alex Fraser bridge (the two pairs of towers).
This is a 64 megapixel panorama so will look great when printed huge!
About Alexis Birkill
Born in the UK, I moved to Vancouver, BC in 2011. My career in photography has grown from a long-held passion for capturing the beauty of the world, aided on the technical side by my background as a software developer. I specialise in fine art photography of landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes in and around the Pacific Northwest, with work exhibited internationally. Many of my photographs feature the beautiful city of Vancouver, but as well as capturing its iconic cityscapes, I can often be found exploring the BC and Washington coastline for new photographic opportunities, as well as developing my portfolio of night sky photographs featuring the Milky Way and the Aurora Borealis.
