This is the top of the steeple of Peace United Church of Christ, in Hartsburg, Missouri. The church was founded by the children of German immigrants, in 1894.

Once in a while, our youngest son gets to ring the bells in this tower, signalling the beginning of the worship service. It's a privilege he doesn't take lightly.

The flashing around the top of the steeple appears blue in this photo, but it's actually a shiny gray metal, which is reflecting the blue sky above.
