This is my first purchase from Fine Art America. I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted to hang in our newly renovated master bathroom wall. I searched all over the internet and then came upon Fine Art America online. It took months of searching but when I came upon Carol Robinson's collection I liked her style and soft, airy prints. The peony is a flowering plant in the genus Paeonia, the only genus in the family Paeoniaceae. They are native to Asia, Southern Europe and Western North America. The peony is named after Paeon (also spelled Paean), a student of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine and healing. Asclepius became jealous of his pupil; Zeus saved Paeon from the wrath of Asclepius by turning him into the peony flower. (wiki)

Mona Edulesco is a Romanian painter and architect who resides in France and specializes in textured impasto palette knife oil paintings. Her preference for abstract cityscapes reflects her background in architecture and urban planning.
