Whenever I would go on vacation, I wouldn’t bring home t-shirts, I would bring home sovenier rocks. I always have. I never really knew why, but I did. I put these rocks all over my house as decorations and sometimes stacked them into piles. One day I was thinking about the stacks of rocks we would make to mark trails during my Girl Scout days, but I couldn’t remember how to spell “cairn,” which is what a stack of rocks is technically called. Well, what I found when I googled it, opened a whole new world for me that day. I spent the entire afternoon looking at unbelievable images and Youtube videos on a different form of rock cairns…rock balancing! I was innammered!
