These lovely little spring wildflowers are called, Tiny Bluets, Small Bluets, Least Bluets, just plain Bluets, and Houstonia pusilla. They grace our lawns here in Hartselle in Morgan County Alabama USA with an electric neon blue to lavender splash of color every spring. I just love them, but my husband mows them down way too soon. sigh.

My name is Kathy Clark and I live in Hartselle, Alabama with my husband Tom, and my daughters, Michelle & Jessica, and granddaughter Tasha & great-granddaughter Ava living fairly close by. However I spent most of my life in Alaska where I learned to appreciate the world around me. I love God's creation and find photography a great way to capture some of that beauty. Digital photography made it even easier to do so. I use a Canon 7D and a Canon Rebel XTi, and Canon lenses, 18mm to 55mm, 75mm to 300mm, and my favorite a 100mm macro lens. I enjoying photographing flowers, especially wildflowers, insects, and birds, the most.
