This is not surprising that the inflammable colors of this flower have also fetched it names like 'Firecracker Vine' or 'Exotic Love'. True to its name, the flower is exotically adorned with warmth and beauty of nature. Convolvulaceae is the plant family to which the genus Ipomoea lobata belongs to. Spanish flag is a name that has been imposed on the flower due to its fiery colors which resemble the colors of the Spanish Flag or else there is no historical evidence which would relate the flower to the Spanish flag.
