This is my first purchase from Fine Art America. I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted to hang in our newly renovated master bathroom wall. One of my early oil paintings, depicting the scene from William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet where Romeo thinks Juliet is dead - yet her cheeks are rosy as if she still lives - and kisses her one final time before he poisons himself so they can be together again in death only to realise that she is still alive.

Born in Norway in 1974, and discovering I knew how to paint in 1999, my work spans a wide variety of styles and media, all the way from traditional oils, pencil drawings and encaustics to digital paintings, 3D renderings and computer generated imagery, with styles ranging from the completely abstract to the sensually figurative.
