Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Horses are funny to watch when they do this. They rub each other in exactly the same places. If one moves to another spot, the other will mirror its action. Sometimes nibbling and sometimes using their upper lip to massage the horse. If you rub a horse in an itchy spot and place your hand under their mouth; the horse will move its upper lip back and forth across your hand as if to massage it. Be careful because sometimes the horse will nip.
I've created this new technique of painting watercolor over an acrylic background. This was one of my first attempts. The purpose was because, being primarily a watercolor artist, needed to do paintings on canvas for a gallery that only took canvas work.
See my Del Sol painting for another version of this style painted on watercolor canvas and my Peace And Justice painting for this same technique applied to traditional canvas.
Expressive Portraits Of Animals And People: Jani is an award winning water media/graphite artist who paints and draws people and animals in a loose, painterly style she calls impressionistic realism. "I love playing interesting colors against each other; creating movement and texture with all the different medias mixing the medias as needed to add another layer of character and depth. It fits my adventurous spirit." She intentionally leaves a little to the viewer's imagination so they can be a part of her emotive, story-telling artwork. Jani is accomplished in a variety of medias and offers her fine art skills for pet portrait commissions in graphite, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic and oil. More Here. COMMISSIONS/LICENSING: E-MAIL...
