Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Artist's Description
Purple Hibiscus - Kauai, Hawaii
The Hibiscus is a genus of flowering plants in the mallow family, Malvaceae. It is quite large, containing several hundred species that are native to warm-temperate, subtropical and tropical regions throughout the world. Member species are often noted for their showy flowers and are commonly known simply as hibiscus, or less widely known as rose mallow. The genus includes both annual and perennial herbaceous plants, as well as woody shrubs and small trees. The generic name is derived from the Greek word ἱ, which was the name Pedanius Dioscorides gave to Althaea officinalis.
About Brian Harig
As a fine art landscape photographer I find myself seeking the very best of nature. From sunrise to sunset, our planet never fails to provide a canvas on which to paint with light (literal definition of photography, light-writing). I can point back to the exact moment in time and space when I said, "I want to be a photographer." It was during my first visit to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. I was standing in front of Palette Springs and thought I had been transported through a wormhole to another planet. I snapped a few images with my cell phone and my photography career was born. I rushed home, ordered a $700 camera off the internet, taught myself how to shoot, and 7 months later I was a full-time photographer. Now, I am an...

What a fantastic hibiscus the purple! Brian, your photography is 100% - I am not a very good photographer, but I try each summer. I live in Canada, Quebec to be exact So in the summer I am able to grow hibiscus on my large balcony and take pix and in the winter I can photograph the bare, tall trees enveloped in snow and ice glistening in the sunshine! Best of both worlds! Again, many thanks for this very unusual hibiscus!
