This is a color image of the Mike the Tiger statue in front of the Habitat for LSU's live tiger mascot Mike VII with a friendly purple sky above. This statue is dedicated to John Ferguson the original voice of the tigers.

Ferguson began broadcasting LSU athletics in 1946 and retired in 1987. He also did play-by-play for the New Orleans Saints for a time and other sports events both regionally and nationally.
