Artist's Description
This is a work on paper. I started the work with spray paint to add tooth to the paper. Then work chalk and colored pencil over that. This piece is one of three. They work together or apart .My intent was to show the cool tropical nights. this original has colors that include some metalics.
About Judy Loper
Judy Loper demonstrated a strong aptitude for art at an early age. She credits the encouragement of her junior high school art teacher as the stimulus for her lifelong interest in art and art education. Judy received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1969. She then moved to southern California where she began her career as an educator and her vocation as an artist, participating in several professional shows. In 1981 she received A Master of Education degree from Oklahoma's Central State University Junior College and Community College Art Education”. While her art has taken many twist and turns over the last 25 years she has always returned to painting. although she also enjoys producing...
