Jacki McGovern

Seems like there was never a time I wasn't drawing, painting or making something with my hands. The only thing I enjoy more than art, is my dogs - Dalmatians, which I have owned, bred, and shown for over 30 years. So combining the two just naturally occurred. I started drawing them working in charcoals, then moved on to pen and inks. When painting, I love to work with Watercolor or Acrylic, but also do Oils, and sometimes combine mediums. A few years ago I started donating a portion of every art sale to a wonderful charity that benefits Dalmatians. Save the Dalmatians and Others Canine Rescue -- SDAL rescues Dalmatians from shelters and finds them new homes. They also educate the public about the Dalmatian breed, promote...
