I fell in love with this photo the day that Jan posted it. The cards are beautiful, frame able for a small space. I like that they have plenty of room for writing or doodling inside.

Love dragons this card was even better in person when it arrived.
Botany Bay is at the end of the road at Port Renfrew, on the west (outer) coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Reached by a one kilometer downhill trail, it has a small sand beach and a massive natural rock breakwater protecting the beach from the open Pacific storms. Half-way out the breakwater there is a big hollow in the top of the rocks and this fills up with salt water from the waves and surf which batter the outer walls. Eventually the next big surge of surf causes it to suddenly overflow and create this waterfall. The timing and volume vary because of the action of the surf, sometimes a thundering burst like this one, and sometimes just a few small streams. It varies almost minute by minute, a fascinating quirk of nature.

In the past I've written articles for a number of magazines, illustrating them with my own photos. I love photographing whatever appeals to me or happens to catch my eye. Almost all of my images are of Canada, though I probably specialize more on the Atlantic and Pacific Coasts and the...
