William H. Simmons, CMA, AICB, F.Inst.D. Born 1942 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, I am a self-taught artist whose primary interest is landscapes and seascapes. Art training was achieved through personal studies, persistence and the knowledge passed down by the masters of contemporary art. The most striking features of my artwork are a distinctive use of colour and light providing a great range of mixes that accentuate the internal colour relationships within each of my paintings. Memberships include Visual Arts Brampton, The Brampton Arts Council and CARFAC Ontario.
