Artist's Description
Mount Whitney is a breathtaking pinnacle reaching 14,505 feet. It is the highest peak in the contiguous United States and at the tail end of what is called the John Muir Wilderness trail of California.
The west slope of the mountain is in Sequoia National Park while the east slope is in the Inyo National Forest in Inyo County
I have re-imagined the photograph into a painting style finish. Use the High Resolution Preview for a closer look at the brushstroke texture finish.
