Moraine Lake by fine art photographer Edward M. Fielding - www.edwardfielidng.com
....
Moraine Lake is a glacially-fed lake in Banff National Park, 14 kilometers (8.7 mi) outside the Village of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 6,183 feet (1,885 m). The lake has a surface area of .5 square kilometers (0.19 sq mi).
The lake, being glacially fed, does not reach its crest until mid to late June. When it is full, it reflects a distinct shade of blue. The color is due to the refraction of light off the rock flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis.

What a glorious view, Edward! Glory unto God for such an amazing setting!
Edward Fielding replied:
Thanks - Banff National Park’s Moraine Lake is turquoise because finely ground rock is present. We are able to observe the blue light produced by the water’s absorption, because light is scattered by suspended matter and so returns to the surface. Such scattering can also shift the spectrum of the emerging photons toward the green, a color often seen in water laden with suspended particles.

Beautiful image Edward! That water color is beautiful! l/f
Edward Fielding replied:
Thanks Michael. The water in a crazy blue color due to setiments in the water due to run off from the glaciers.
