Austin and the surrounding area in Texas is full of Live Oak trees. They keep their leave all through winter and lose them in the spring when the new growth pushes them off. Here is a portion of a Live Oak tree in front of one of the windows of the Austin Baptist Church here is Austin, Texas
About Linda Phelps
Linda Phelps lives in Austin, Texa s. Linda started to study the art of photography in the late 1980s. She started with the first digital camera that came on the market and continues working to improve her art. She has earned awards in local, national and international competitions. She has written tutorials and articles for the web on photography. She presented a seminar on how to make creative images in a photo convention sponsored by the Gulf Coast Camera Club Council which covers a 5 state area. Linda has a strong interest in creative photography that takes an image out of the normal range of a photograph into the realm creative images. Recently she has moved on from fine art photography to making fantastic artistic abstracts....
