This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things.The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!

I did this painting in honor of the 500th year anniversary of the discovery of Florida. I imagined that it must have been a glorious sight from the various historical descriptions. I tried to image being on one of the three ships on that voyage. This is intended to be the view from that one ship out at sea looking towards the other two ships as they approach the shore. Since they are going west...I made this a sunset like some I have seen in the area.

Although born in upstate New York, I grew up mostly in Nevada and California. The fabulous panoramic views of the far west inspired me to begin painting and photographing it’s beauty. I’ve lived in various areas in the states and in Europe but always had the desire to express through painting and photography.
