paul this is such a superb portrait of a major figure in rock history.yoko is not everyones cup of tea,and for many years was hated and laughed at.she also did not break up the beatles, even paul recently said that.shes always been an avante garde true original in her experimental performance pieces and her music, and did not care really what others thought, she did her art her way.and even now,at 80 years old,yes 80 years old! she is still kickin butt performing and rocking out with sean.i have seen her and sean a few times in person, always very nice and im always fully aware i am looking at rock royalty at the time.her class and unwavering belief in peace and love even after johns murder are a testament to them both. brilliant piece, and choice of subject paul:) v/f

Paul Lovering replied:

Your sooooooooo lucky to have met Yoko and Sean ... Green with envy Ed , yep every thing you say I agree , a fantastic Rock royalty for sure , thank you my friend for this ultra compelling message , kind regards Paul

Paul, all the portraits you've done are very expressive and uniquely painted which makes them unmistakably yours! I love how dramatically you portrayed Yoko! Beautiful work! voted

Paul Lovering replied:

I don' t know why I love to receive a comment more on this Yoko portrait than any of mine , I guess I feel such compassion for her loss , I remember blaming Yoko for the break up of The Beatles when I was young and not very upstanding !. But your fabulous words are a thrill and I hope any negative thoughts gone to Yoko in the past are forgiven know Ai have painted her , dramatically portrayed = so Rocks , special thank you Marina xox
